Yup. Its a Stag!
2/2/2 Its mine. It looks pretty good. Someone started a "frame off" (can you do a frame off on a unibody?). They finished most of it, but I have found a few wiring anomalies. The moldings and and weather stripping were all in the trunk for both the hard top and the soft. There is a vacuum leak in the heating/cooling control. But the engine runs COOL and strong, the entire body is clean and pure. Recently painted there is no rust or bondo anywhere. It looks great! I'll get more pics and post em shortly, first insurance and a tag. Its LE21629UBW.
12/31/06 O.K. So its been four years since I have owned this car without an entry. During the four years my son smashed the front end, and it was repaired. I dropped a valve in the engine and broke a piston, and it was repaired. But as of about six months ago, its at home and being driven. New carpets are in, all the electrics (pretty much) work. I missing a number things to get the soft top on, but placed a large order with Rimmers. Gas tank developed a leak and a new one is part of the order. All in all, its running well and being driven regularly. I'd take some pics, but it is pouring rain.
